Complimentary Resubmission
If any live scan transaction is rejected based on fingerprint quality, our service technician can return to your home or work for a complimentary resubmission. Just provide the rejection letter from the Department of Justice (DOJ).
What to Bring
Valid driver’s license or government-issued photo ID.
If you are completing a Live Scan in California, you must bring a completed Request for Live Scan Service form. This form is required to process your Live Scan fingerprint transaction.
Please obtain this form from your employer, licensing agency, or the organization requesting your fingerprints before your appointment.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?
Please bring:
• A valid government-issued photo ID
• Your completed Request for Live Scan Service form
• Payment
Your Request for Live Scan Service form is normally provided by your employer, licensing agency, or requesting organization.
DO YOU PROVIDE INK FINGERPRINT CARDS (FD-258)?
No. We do not provide ink fingerprinting or FD-258 fingerprint card services.
We provide electronic Live Scan fingerprinting only.
DO YOU OFFER MOBILE LIVE SCAN?
Yes. We come directly to your home, office, workplace, business, nursing facility, or other approved location.
Individual appointments are welcome. No group minimum is required.
HOW LONG DOES A LIVE SCAN APPOINTMENT TAKE?
Most individual appointments take approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
We verify your identification, review your information, capture your fingerprints, and provide you with a copy of your completed Live Scan form.
HOW MUCH DOES LIVE SCAN COST?
The total cost depends on your specific Live Scan request and may include:
• DOJ and/or FBI processing fees
