We do not provide ink card fingerprinting services. 5. How long does the Live Scan appointment take? An individual session usually takes less than 10-15 minutes. We verify your ID, capture your prints electronically, and give you a receipt with your ATI number. 6. How long does it take to get my results? Most DOJ results are processed within 48 to 72 hours if no manual review is needed. FBI checks may take longer. Your results are sent directly to the requesting agency, not to you. Processing can vary based on agency volume and if manual review is required. 7. How much does Live Scan cost in Oakland? Your total has two parts: 1) Government DOJ/FBI processing fee (varies by your ORI number) + 2) Our rolling fee + mobile travel fee. If your transaction is rejected due to fingerprint quality, our technician will return to your home or work to re-do it for free. Just provide the rejection letter from the DOJ. 12. How do I check my Live Scan status? After your appointment, you will receive a receipt with your ATI (Applicant Transaction Identifier) number. You can use this number to check your status on the California DOJ website. 13. Do you handle large groups and corporate accounts? Yes. Will I get a copy of my background check? No. Results are sent directly and confidentially to the agency that requested your Live Scan.
